BITS Biocon certificate program in applied industrial microbiology

Biocon Academy partners with Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani - a leading Institute of Higher Education and a deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, to deliver a first of its kind ‘Certificate Program in Applied Industrial Microbiology’.

The Program is aimed at improving the employability prospects of fresh science and pharmacy graduates specialized in microbiology as well as enhancing the skills of experienced scientific talent. It provides deep understanding of various aspects of Microbiology through an Intensive curriculum comprising 8 modules, delivered by the renowned faculty from BITS. The live experiments at the state-of-the-art Quality Control Labs of Biocon further accentuates the learning of the students.

This 8 week full-time Certificate Program in Applied Industrial Microbiology delivered by renowned Faculty from BITS and Biocon Academy, is designed to have classroom sessions to impart function specific knowledge as well as inculcate the application know how of various techniques used in microbiological analysis through industry assignments and functional training sessions.

Biocon Academy is an Advanced Learning Educational Initiative which takes forward our commitment to affordability and greater access. The BITS-Biocon Certificate Program Applied Industrial Microbiology is being made available to students at a 40% cost, of the program.
The Biocon Merit Scholarship to all students selected through a rigorous process, will enable students to pursue this one-of-its kind program at an affordable cost.
