CCIM upgrades guidelines for colleges and teachers to address administrative disputes
In the wake of several disputes regarding the relieving/resigning of teachers from the colleges, the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) has upgraded its guidelines for the colleges and teachers. There are around 346 colleges under CCIM. CCIM is a statutory body under the Union Ayush ministry formed to develop institutions and regulate the practice of Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM). As per the notice issued to the colleges and teachers, CCIM has observed several disputes regarding the relieving/resigning of teachers from the colleges and it has become a serious hindrance for the upliftment of ISM education system. The CCIM also looked into the intensity of the problems faced by teachers as well as the college authorities while resigning/relieving from the college respectively.
