Cops to probe 'fraud' by pharmacy college in Nashik

Today's Times of India, Mumbai Edition reports a case of 'fraud' in SNDB Pharmacy College Nashik. This can be accessed at: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/nashik/Cops-directed-to-probe-fraud-by-educational-institute-in-Nashik/articleshow/47290871.cms   As per the report, Snehal Gadekar (25) filed a complaint against Jagdamba Educational Institute, Yeola, on May 7, alleging that institute had forged her signs, showing her as an employee . The girl was a student at the College of from 2008 to 2012. After that, she was studying in a pharmacy college in Nashik for her MPharm when the institute allegedly projected her as an employee.   When the girl's brother, Sachin, who was a faculty at the SNDB Pharmacy College, discovered that her name was shown as an employee, along with her forged signatures, they tried to sort the matter with the institute. A growing interest for intellectual property in universities

A recent article in Pharmaceutical Patent Analyst highlights the growing interest of intellectual property in University setups.
