India Rankings 2016_MCOPS first in India

'India Rankings 2016' have been released by the Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani on Monday at Vigyan Bhawan. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, topped the list in the nationwide survey of government-backed rankings for higher education launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) on Monday. This was the first time such a list was published.

However, what makes one think is the absence of NIPERs in the top universities list. The obvious thought in everyone’s mind is whether these rankings are rigged.

We do not doubt the standing of MCOPS, but…. I think this is worth a thought.
