INTRODUCTION:
Daily life or professionally to provide career
growth or financial gain, skills must be developed satisfactorily as they
provide strength & expertise to a person.
Significant changes in national health care
systems worldwide are fueling the critical examination of how health

drug,clinical trials, pharmaceutical marketing and pharmaceutical sales.

pharmaceutical sciences in serving
the needs and expectations of the society.
The
professional pharmacy curriculum is designed to produce pharmacists who have
the abilities and skills to provide drug information,education and
pharmaceutical care to patient.

EDUCATION FOR PHARMACY STUDENTS:
Required
education for all pharmacy students includes
ü Pharmaceutical chemistry
ü pharmaceutics(drug dosage forms,delivery,and
disposition in the human body)
ü Pharmacology
ü Therapeutics(the clinical use of drugs and
dietary supplements in patients)
ü Drug information and analysis
ü Pharmacy administration (including pharmacy
law,bioethics,health systems, pharmaco economics,medical information)
ü Clinical pharmacy practice in
pharmacies, industry, health maintenance organization, hospital wards and ambulatory care
clinics.
ASSESSMENT OF PERSONAL SKILLS:
TIME
MANAGEMENT:
Generally
true that we do not devote enough time to find better ways of doing things. Make the
time to review what you could improve in your work & your life, & then
take action.
DECISION MAKING:
An individual needs to generate as many ideas
as possible. This provides a list of good alternatives to
select from. It also helps to solicit input from others who
can have more ideas & different perspectives to share.

This involves the ability to communicate with all people involved, and
using language that those on the receiving end will be able to understand &
respond to.

TRAINING PROVIDE:
The National Skill Development Corporation provides skill development
funding either as loans or equity, and supports financial incentives to select
private sector initiatives to improve financial viability through tax breaks
etc. NSDC financing
initiatives provide funding through Loan, Equity, Grants.
The NSDC will adopt a phased and detailed due
diligence process to select proposals for funding to provide funds for
vocational training.

CURRICULUM DESIGN AND
DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION:
A curriculum is considered the “heart” of any
learning institution which means that schools or universities cannot exist
without a curriculum. With its
importance in formal education, curriculum has become a dynamic process due to
the changes that occur in our society.
Total learning experiences of individuals not only in school, but in
society as well.
The
curriculum should aim to be broad by bringing all pupils into contact with an
agreed range of areas of learning and experience. It should also be balanced in that it allows the adequate
development of each area.
In
addition, each major component should have breadth, balance and relevance and
should incorporate a progression in the acquisition of knowledge and
understanding.
In today’s knowledge economy, curriculum
development plays a vital role in improving the economy of a country. It also provides answers or
solutions to the world’s pressing conditions and problems,
such as environment, politics, social-economics,
and other issues on poverty, climate change and sustainable development.
PHARMACIST
INVOLVEMENT IN R&D:
To increase the involvement of pharmacist
in the patient counseling and advising the patient, management of ADR, control the drug interaction, ward round participation, therapeutic drug monitoring, drug utilization evaluation, drug information and pharmaceutical
calculation.
Pharmacist involved in research and
development of drugs,various formulation development by this way to reduce
cumulative effect or toxic effect drug.Also
provide the minimum dose with maximum therapeutic effect
