NABH to start series of workshops on EC accreditation in clinical trial across India from May 11 to Sep 14, 2019

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) will be conducting a series of workshops on ethics committee (EC) accreditation in clinical trial from May 11, 2019 to September 14, 2019 for hospitals, small healthcare organisations, allopathic clinic, ayush hospitals, dental hospitals, dental clinics and ethics committee members across 10 cities in India.

The first one-day workshop will be conducted in Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS), ICMR, Patna on May 11. This will be followed by a workshop in Meditrina Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur; Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana; and Rhythm Heart Institute, Vadodara.

This will be followed by workshops in Nashik, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Indore, Chandigarh and Jaipur.

NABH is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI), which establishes and operates accreditation and certification programmes for healthcare organizations.

NABH has been successfully running various accreditation and certification Programmes for healthcare administrators, nursing staff, doctors, ethics committee members, investigators, clinical Research professionals from both private and public hospitals and institutions.

Total 50 seats are available and registration will be done on first come first serve basis. Not more than two participants will be accepted from the same organization.Registration Fees is Rs.500 plus GST @ 18% (Total Rs.590/-) per participant.

NABH would also start organizing 1 day workshop on ‘Implementation of Medical Laboratory Programme Standards’ from June 2019 onwards.

The objective of this programme is to provide knowledge and guidance on implementing NABH Medical Labortory standards to stakeholders, management and staff with the aim of developing trained personnel within laboratory for helping them to work towards achieving certification and maintaining the same. This programme produce trained individuals to conduct internal audit effectively.
